In December of 1991 I sat in the
back of Rastro Van on the way to my
Grandparent's house for Christmas, Tommy
asked me if I'd be in a Rock 'n Roll band
with some guy I'd never heard of (John)
and some guy I barely knew (Ray). I asked
him what it paid; he said
"nothing." I said
"sure." (Ah, the good ole
days). I recommended a buddy of mine with
a pretty good voice, Jeff, and a
keyboardist I used to date in high
school, Jennie Rush. Jen lasted almost a
year, and I never did meet John; and the
rest, well, we're a band with a name that
nobody seems to remember. |
